Challenges
- Meta restrictions. Meta prohibits advertising services related to “AI for communication,” especially if there is suspicion of simulated relationships. Ad accounts are banned at the first signs of “romance bots,” “AI companions,” etc.
- High competition. Competing apps offer similar functionality.
Solution
Promotion Channels
Facebook (Meta Ads)
- Our team targeted a broad audience aged 18+.
- Also, Lookalike Audiences were used to find new users similar to existing subscribers.
- A separate campaign focused on re-engaging users who completed the survey on the website but did not subscribe.
Testing and Optimization
- The team adapted headlines, avoiding mentions of “AI” and “relationships.”
- We used provocative yet platform-compliant video content with strong emotional and visual appeal to highlight the product’s effectiveness and increase audience engagement while maintaining balance and minimizing the risk of bans.
- Additionally, our team regularly updated creatives to improve campaign performance.

Results
Our collaboration led to the following results:
- 674 subscriptions over the 4 months of running the advertising campaign.
- Targeting a broad audience proved most effective in this category.
